How blest are those who know their need of God; the kingdom of Heaven is theirs. (NEB)
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. (NRSV)
Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully! (TEV)
Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you will be filled. (NRSV)
Do not start worrying: ‘Where will my food come from? or my drink? or my clothes?’ ...Your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things. (TEV)

Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.
Desire is prayer; and no loss can occur from trusting God with our desires, that they may be moulded and exalted before they take form in words and in deeds.
What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace, expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds.
Consistent prayer is the desire to do right.
The Psalmist saith: "He shall give His angels charge over thee." God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for tomorrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment. What a glorious inheritance is given to us through the understanding of omnipresent Love! More we cannot ask: more we do not want: more we cannot have. This sweet assurance is the "Peace, be still" to all human fears, to suffering of every sort.
