also Jesus' declaration, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."
(Joh 14:7,12) Since Christ Jesus is described as "the image of the
invisible God" (Col 1:15) and as "the reflection of God’s glory
and the exact imprint of God’s very being" (Heb 1:3). Jesus himself
said, "If you know me, you will know my Father also,"and "Whoever
has seen me has seen the Father" (Joh 12:9). We may then conclude
that by truly seeing Jesus as "the life," we are seeing God,
the Father, as Life.

- Note:
In Paul's day some people considered Jesus as never having lived in
the flesh and as being supernaturally glorified but never physically
crucified. In our modern times, some Christians dwell so much on the
crucifixion that they fail to see the full meaning and value of his
resurrection and glorification. Appreciation of both crucifixion and
resurrection are needed.
